Well, this weekend was NOT FUN! I had to capture some pictures of my little guy taking a nebulizer treatment. He doesn't mind it too much, but by the end of 10 minutes he WANTS to be done with it!

Big sister keeping him happy!

He is about DONE!

Big brother getting in on the action...
I am happy to report...we no longer need nebulizer treatments, noses are clearing up and they still have a lingering cough here and there...but so much better! YAY! The weather is getting so nice too, so hopefully this will be the last of the sicknesses for the season! I won't hold my breath too long, I said HOPEFULLY!
Yesterday, I had to take Brayden to an eye appointment. I had made this appointment 3 months ago just as a precautionary thing. It is on the Down syndrome health recommendations...we saw Dr. Lanier and she is awesome...She specializes in pediatrics and special needs...so she was so knowledgable. They dialated Brayden's eyes and we were there for 3 hours...they tested him and overall he has pretty darn good eyesight! He is a little far-sighted which is typical for babies his age...that will get normal as he gets older...and he has 2 small stigmatisms that should not require glasses, but may if they get way worse...so for now he is cleared...we will see her in about a year and check his eyes again.
I left Kaylee with Mimi at our house and they had a great time baking some YUMMY sugar cookies...I was happy to smell the house when I got home...oh and happy to EAT the cookies!
Thanks MiMi for having some fun with Kaylee!

I love all of the pictures! Brayden looks like he does so well with the nebulizer. Joel has had to have a mask at the hospital when he has croup and he hates it. He fights it and cries so much - not fun!
I saw your comment on my post today. I forgot to mention in my post that the Disability Tax Credit is from the Canadian government - I live in Canada. Hopefully they have something similar in the states - it is so helpful!
I know it was stressful and not so much fun but it sure made for some cute pictures! I laughed out loud. That is so cute. I know, I'm sorry. But he is adorable. Especially with his nebulizer.
I'm glad you all survived.
Whitley also calls one of her grandmas Mimi. I think it's how she first started to pronounce Grandma? I'm not sure but it's cute. Mimi LOVES it.
It looks like Mimi is lots of fun! I miss being messy and making sugar cookies...I guess I could still do that, I just dont take the time to cut out fun shapes...I just want to get them baked so I can eat them!
You know your kid is a cutie when he still looks adorable with that contraption strapped to his face! LOL! Glad to hear everyone is feeling better.
What a pain...thank goodness for built in babysitters. Especially ones that bake.
Hooray for a great eye exam and not needing that nebulizer anymore! Cute pictures of the kids!
