Finally....an update!

We have been sooo busy with LIFE! Here are some pics to catch up for lost time...The two pics up top Brayden is at PT using a SPIO vest...this is something that is being requested to order for Brayden...it is amazing how secure and strong he feels when he is wearing this...he is quick to stand, take a few strides with help and crawling all over obstacles...so we are excited to get this...a few other pics were at OT, working on his shapes, crawling through tunnels...we have been so fortunate to be able to stay with our OT at least for a little while longer...maybe forsure, but we will find out in the next couple of days...prayers have been answered .

Dave Mathews Band...

Jared and I enjoyed a night out with great friends Jeff and Christy. Jeff and Christy picked us up in a great limo and we headed to dinner at Flemings. It was sooooo good! Then we went to the concert at the Savemart Center...Jason Moraz opened for DMB...loved it! and Dave Mathew's was AWESOME! We had a great night! Can't wait until another outing out with you guys!

Christy having some fun! Picture of us with opposite spouses...dont' know why that happened, but its all good! :)

My presentation at Fresno Pacific College...what a great opportunity that was...I was asked to speak to an Early Childhood development class a couple of weeks ago and it went so well. To be able to share our story with women that were there ready to listen to with open hearts and they had so many questions...it was great! I encourage any of you to take any of these opportunities...I always feel so proud and even more blessed after sharing our story! I still DO NOT like public speaking, but I have to say, I didn't feel as uncomfortable this time...this was my 3rd time speaking at the college...

So, school is in full swing...Kaylee absolutely LOVES kindergarten! She earns a Golden banana everyday, coming home with a treat/prize from the treasure box (their classroom is a jungle theme) ...she is truly making us proud...Cody loves 3rd grade as well and is doing a fine job too! He is a great example to many, and feel so blessed to know my kids are just GREAT kids! (ok, I am bragging a little, but we are really proud of them.)

Cody had his first soccer tournament last weekend and took 4th in the tournament...He is playing on a higher level team and it is more competitive and there is some travel involved...he has had to work a little harder this year, but is beginning to shine like a star. He was a little intimidated at first, but his confidence is surely building and we are so proud of him for giving it his all!
Brayden is continuing to make us smile everyday! He is exploring and getting into everything!! He is fast and curious to find out how things work...He is copying so many things now...so much fun! He learned how to dial and talk on the phone thanks to his PaPa! He is waving bye-bye now...sometimes both hands wave bye-bye!

We have been busy fixing up our house...we are currently in the mix of putting in new flooring in our house...so what a mess things have been and more things for Brayden to get into...but we are hoping all will be back to normal within 1-2 weeks. IT is more of a process than I thought, but will be so happy when it is all done!

We are also gearing up for the Buddywalk which is being held on October 10, 2009 from 10am-1pm at O'Neill Park of FSU...If you are interested in being on our team" Brayden's Army"....you can register at www.fadss.net... Click on Buddywalk , then register Online...We will set up a canopy area for our team...you can either bring a picnic lunch, or buy your lunch with your registrations...We will be providing our team with some snacks and water...Please let me know if you are interested in coming out! It is so much fun...there will be performances, activities for the kids and the famous WALK with our teams...wear Camoflauge or your Brayden shirt from last year!

Well, I have lots more pics...but will save them for my next post...:) Here is a little video of Brayden talking on the phone...more like listening on the phone in this clip...

Wow you have been busy. I am so glad that you have been able to stay with your OT. That vest looks really cool - I may have to find out more information on that one. So glad to hear that all is going well!

For some reason some blogs aren't updating on mine, its making me crazy. I love his face, he smiles, then he looks at you intently. I have a friend thats little girl is waiting for that vest. It takes forever to come in.

SO cute. His little jacket makes him look like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible.

You guys sound busy, like us. The vest looks like a useful tool -- glad he likes it. Brayden looks like he's doing great. The photos are darling, especially the one w/ him in a tube and the other one w/ a cell phone. What's with our kids and cell phones or TV clickers? LOL.

PS: We had to watch the clip of Brayden on the phone again since John Michael was "talking" and smiling with Brayden the whole time. Too cute!
