So much to catch up on...

So, I have just not had the time to sit down long enough and catch up on our family blog...NOW is the time to get caught up! So, beware of picture overload but some REAL fun times! So hard NOT to post all the many pictures I take! We went to the zoo today and I took 99 pictures! WHAT? So, I will save that for our next post...for now , here is a recap of the last month or so...

Brayden has been doing so well in PT...His PT recently did an evaulation and another progress report and once again Brayden has met all his goals, except for walking a few steps on his own. He is RIGHT there, so ready to do it though, and all of us KNOW IT! If he just had a little more confidence that he could do it, he will be RUNNING very soon. His PT couldn't agree more. I'm actually okay with him NOT running yet!

Making sure his SMO's are still fitting right. He wears these over his socks and is wearing these MORE and MORE throughout the day. He does really well in them and doesn't seem to mind them. Still wearing his SPIO vest a couple hours a day, just for stability and he really doesn't mind that either. Pretty easy going kid...love it!

Doing a squat and does this quite often... Our PT has requested another 3 month stretch from our EI agency for PT once per week, one hour sessions...and we are hoping in these next 3 months he will be taking steps on his own...

AVILA BEACH, CA... Since the kids are out of school for Spring Break, we decided to visit some of my family that was taking a week vaca at our favorite beach. Jared was unable to get the day off, but we headed to Avila for the day and it was beautiful and a lot of fun! Kids of course had to hit the beach, swim across the little cove, get some Starfish, swim in the pool/ and spa...then we headed home.

Cousins are the best!

Brayden was so relaxed sitting on the top step of the spa...loved the bubbles!

Back to SCHOOL TIME!
Brayden LOVES going to his EI playgroup! He is adjusting with flying colors...He has a little pouty fit when we have to leave...it is so cute! I knew he would love it, but didn't realize just how much!?

He is walking up with help from his EI teacher with his picture and finding his picture/name badge...each child does this during circle time, identifying themselves with a picture and seeing their name...it is great! He found his too with NO problem! and knew to stick his picture to his sticker...so cute!

Creating a "NO TOUCH" painting craft...his first kite for the wall! Didn't realize he was biting the box while he was watching the ball roll around and around in the paint...so he had a little taste of paint, oh well!

He thinks he is pretty BIG stuff and EI playgroup...they have this medical walker and he uses it with no problem once again...gets right up in it, rolls the walker while walking on his own to the next stop, lowers his body to the ground and continues to play. Our PT is not a huge fan of being dependent on the walker, but it helps build self confidence and is going to loan us one for outdoor outings, etc...but NOT to use all the time. We might be getting to get it as early as tomorrow.

I can't believe my baby is going to be 2 next month...so crazy how time flies. He is growing up everyday...and communicating more and more...still being stubborn with signing, understands many, but won't do them back...but not giving up on it that's forsure.
SOME BROTHER bonding time...
Nothing sweeter than seeing these two boys together...Cody absolutely loves his little brother and I will see him so many times a day, pick up Brayden , give him some kisses and tell him how much he LOVES him...Brayden just adores his siblings and loves how much affection they give him... I have been told by Cody, "Mom, you never have to worry about Brayden if you or dad are not around...I will always take care of him." He has told me more than once and has actually gone as far as telling his teachers at school...when his teacher from last year told me that recently...tears came to my eyes, because I truly know that Cody and Kaylee will always be there for their little brother.

And Bear will most likely ALWAYS be around. For those of you who know us personally, you have met Mr. Bear (lots of nursery rhymes and obnoxious voices singing it) but He LOVES it! He even falls asleep once and awhile on him.

OPEN HOUSE was a couple weeks ago at our kids school. We are so proud of the progress Cody and Kaylee are making in their classes. They were so excited to show Jared and I their classrooms and all the assignments they have been working on.

So there you have it! A little bit of what we have been up to...so sorry I haven't updated in so long. Hopefully now that I'm a little caught up, my posts won't be so long! If you hung in there and read to the end...thanks for hanging in there. I still haven't quite figured out how to protect my photos...started the watermarking but forgot to do these before I uploaded...so I need to work on it still...

What a fun update! I just love reading about your cute family, I feel like I know you all even though we haven't even met... YET! Brayden is doing so great, I love the pictures of him in the classroom, looks like such a fun time for him! He sure is a smart boy. And that is just precious to see the love between him and his siblings, that just can't be beat. And this beach you guys go to... we are going to head to Cali this summer and I'm thinkin we are going to have to get information about it from you! Derek saw pictures and asked "where is that?" He was quite impressed! :) I enjoyed the update, glad you are all doing so well!
