Can't believe it has been a year since our FIRST buddywalk...thought it would be cute to compare pics from last year's buddywalk to this years...we are planning our walk for Oct.10 and doing the same ARMY theme..."Brayden's Army" ...what a neat way to spend the day, supporting and sharing awareness for Down syndrome...it is so uplifting and so much fun for the entire family...so if you haven't registered and want to still join our team...please register at www.fadss.net. We would love to have all interested to come out for a fun time! The Fresno Area Down syndrome society has meant a lot to our family and has embraced us since I was 5 months pregnant, receiving the diagnosis of our son having Down syndrome.

Darlena- I am so sorry we won't be able to do the walk this year!!!! I was looking forward to it too. I loved every moment of it last year, and I know the girls would love to walk it this year. Keep us on your list for the next on!!!!
Oh... if only I was in Bakersfield visiting my parents, I would make the drive to your Buddy Walk! I can't wait to see all the pics and hear all about it! I thoroughly enjoyed our Buddy Walk... a very uplifting day to say the least!
I think Braydens army is the perfect name. Wish we could somehow make it to ours WITH our DS child. Someday.

I have always loved that picture of you holding Brayden up at the Buddy Walk- I think I first saw it way back when I was looking at blogs and had just found out about Bennett. It's one of those pictures that made me smile and think "maybe it's going to be okay" Hope you have a great buddy walk!
As far as the header and button- they are not hard to do and I would gladly do them for you but I have photoshop and that's how I do all of it so if you have that program you can do it yourself- it just takes some time to figure things out. Let me know if you'd like me to do something for you- I love the picture you have though for your header- I could just add to that.
How exciting! I can't wait, I honestly had no clue what a buddy walk even was last year! So I'm excited to be a part of one this year, not until November though! I love the name Brayden's Army! I think it is just so cute. We may end up having to "borrow" the idea and use camo, too! :) I just love it. I can't wait to hear more about yours!
