Went to public viewing again...

This was a hard decision, and I hope we are making the right one. A few weeks ago, our babies picture was stolen and used on a hate thread...it was heartbreaking, but I know that our blog has helped so many new parents out there and I would rather know that we are helping with our blog...I still need to figure out how to protect our pics...but just wanted to let you all know we went public again. Thanks for being patient with our process and decision. I will be updating very soon! I have so many pics and new things to share...:)

Going private on our blog was not ever something I wanted to do...I can remember when I started this blog...beginning our journey as a family with raising a child with Down syndrome and the many blogs I had read and became so in love with! The fact that I COULD go onto any blog and read about their stories and journeys as well...so inspired by reading them, I started my own in hope that I too would be a blog or journey that would help someone in the early stages of finding out they were having a child with Down syndrome or just being able to touch anybody with our journey.

Unfortunately many of you know why we have decided to go private. Seeing what can happen to your child's picture on the internet was so heartbreaking yesterday...I just can't put my family through the thought of that happening again. Hopefully in the future we can open back up this to anybody, but for now I know everyone understands. Thanks for all of your sweet comments and loving support! Truly appreciate all of you! Some of you I have never met in person but you all feel like family to me!

We are gearing up for Kaylee's first dance competition tomorrow and will hopefully post some pics after the awards!

Thinking we may have to go PRIVATE....

Just got word that Brayden's poster submitted to the NDSC is being used in a hate group...yes, our sweet little guys picture! So, because of this I am thinking of going private on our blog. I hate to do this, but in order to protect my babies from the internet I am thinking this has to be done. Big day for Brayden!

Well, today was a big day for Brayden....he went to his first EI playgroup today! He is now 22 months and has been able to go to this group since he turned 18 months, but because of flu/cold season I opted him to wait until spring to start! He goes to this center for speech and every time we go for speech he is off and exploring...so I knew he was plenty ready! He will go every Wednesday and Fridays when I can...He goes for 1 1/2 hours...playtime, circle time, arts and crafts, snack time, obstacles coarses, social interaction...it really is a fun time for him!

So much fun!

Spring Time arrived this past weekend, so of course we wanted to play outdoors all day! When Kaylee jumped on her 12" bike, it didn't work so well because she has grown so much this past year...sooooo,our little diva girl decided she needed a 20" bike...so daddy took her to a bike shop and let her pick out her new bike...(early birthday present)...she picked out a Diamond back beach crusier...and she LOVES it!

So since Spring is arriving, so are Kaylee's dance competitions...she has her first one this weekend and she is sooo excited!

Cody has made it for the CVSA soccer team once again this year! They are a division one league and he loves it! So he starts practice this Saturday...Jared has taken on the job of Treasurer for the soccer club...so he will be busy! I am looking forward to the warmer weather! Jared and I are still doing great with the gym and eating healthier lifestyle! I am down 21 pounds! Wahoo!
