Well, I think all of our GERMS are out of the house for now! Cody and I escaped this round of the flu...THANK GOODNESS. Brayden is now refusing to eat solids though...not sure if this is because of the flu or a phase??? We will see.
Got great news yesterday that the Agency we use for Brayden's services are going to pay 3 months of Physical Therapy...YAY! Our insurance will then start in April but we will be responsible for our annual deductible and co-pays...but we are very thankful for CVRC helping out for at least 3 months. We skipped this weeks PT appt due to Brayden recovering from having the flu bug..so next Tuesday we will be working out again! Brayden also has his 8 month appointment on Monday! Wow...has time flown. He is actually going to be 9 months on the 18th of this month...I am already stirring ideas for his 1st birthday! I love their 1st to be a special one!
Something has been on my mind for awhile and I just want to thank all of you for being TRUE friends...you know when we received our prenatal diagnosis...I remember reading about KNOWING who your TRUE FRIENDS are when you go through this journey. I had such a hard time thinking of losing ANY of our friends...well, sadly we have lost touch with 2 close friends and that was and has been very hard for me. I mean, we were so close for many, many years...I would rather not use names simply because I have no idea if they may have access to our blog and if they do, then they know who they are...but everyone has their reasons for losing touch or not wanting to accept us in their lives anymore... We have become closer with so many of our friends having gone through the experience with our son and have been enriched and blessed in so many other ways...I need to just let this go I guess. Seriously...thanks to all the friends and family that have embraced us even closer since Brayden has entered our lives....you have NO idea how much that means to us. Love you all!

yay yay!! I am so happy you 2 didn't get sick! And that all the germs are gone. I keep being afraid of germs coming to us, because Derek and I have both started school so I have no clue what we could be around! Hopefully not. But I'm happy to hear that Brayden gets to jump into therapy again. I keep talking about Gage's 1 year birthday and Derek thinks I am crazy... I'm happy I'm not the only one!
I know what you mean about having close friends, it makes such a HUGE difference, and most the time I feel like my very closest friends I have met over the internet since Gage was born. What a blessing.
Well I am happy to hear that all is well and everyone is feeling better!
Glad to here you didn't get sick. Mark has been home from work the past couple of days due to the flu. Neither Lily nor I have gotten it. Yea!
I can't really relate to the friends thing because fortunately it hasn't happened to us. I do remember reading about that in Roadmap to Holland.
One thing I will say, is I've made lots of new friends...ones that I may never meet in person...and I count you as one of them :)
Yay!!!! I am glad that you and Cody stayed germ free....I am so sorry that you lost friends over this. When you told me about reading that people do lose friends and family that broke my heart since they don't know what a blessing these babies are. You know you always have a friend next door (literally! LOL)
Can't wait to continue to watch Brayden grow and hit all of his milestones.
Happy New Year! Glad you are all feeling better.I hear grandma is having a reunion in March. Hopefully we can get together then. (I will be popping at the seams be then!)
Thanks for keeping us updated on your family. Blogs are the best huh?
love you-felicity
